The Rialto’s First Collection and Bridge Pamphlet series feature poets who are taking the first step from magazine to book publication, or established writers who are between collections.

Our poets include; Josephine Dickinson, Joanna Guthrie, Richard Lambert, Hannah Lowe, Helena Nelson, Janet Rogerson, Peter Sansom, John Siddique and Emily Wills.

The Rialto has also published collections to mark the early deaths of poets Julia Casterton and Andrew Waterhouse, both of whom were first published through The Rialto’s First Collection series. The Rialto’s ‘How it Turned Out’ is a memorial selection of poems by Frank Redpath.
